Barone appears in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld that aired in the season four. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a cook who wants Elaine Benes' shoes. In the early 1990s she was a regular member for Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone performed the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller in her debut Friends episode. Also, she was married to Carol Willick Ross Geller. She left the show as she decided to take on an additional full-time job. She was to be replaced with Jane Sibbett. She appeared in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the very first season (from 1995-1996), and then on The War at Home between 2005 to the year 2007. Barone appeared on The War at Home alongside Daddio in 2000. Barone is also a part of Desperate housewives The Curb Your Enthuasm Show, Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not disturb Ally McBeal Caroline In The City Party of Five, The Larry Sanders Show and Desperately housewives. Barone won her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2004 for her work in the film One Last Ride. In 2010 three years after The War at Home ended its run Barone began her recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up in the role of Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character played by Barone for two seasons.
